Merge PDFs
How merging works
Add two or more PDFs, use Up and Down to arrange them, then choose Merge PDFs. The pages are combined in the order shown in the list, and the result downloads as merged.pdf.
Good to know
- Everything happens in your browser. Your PDFs are never uploaded or stored anywhere.
- Use Up and Down to change the order. The first file's pages come first in the merged PDF.
- Pages keep their original size, fonts and images; nothing is re-compressed.
- This first version reads standard PDFs with classic cross-reference tables. Password-protected PDFs, and files that use newer compressed cross-references, are rejected with a clear message instead of a broken file.
Questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. The merge happens in your browser on your device, and your files never leave it.
Which PDFs can be merged?
Standard PDFs with classic cross-reference tables, which covers most PDFs. Password-protected PDFs, and files that use newer compressed cross-references, cannot be read by this first version; the tool tells you plainly and merges nothing.
How do I change the order?
Use the Up and Down buttons next to each file. Pages are merged in the order shown in the list.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
Up to 30 files at a time.
What is the merged file called?
It downloads as merged.pdf.
