Split a PDF into the pages you need

Add your PDF, pick the pages you want, and save them as a single new PDF on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Split PDFs

How splitting works

Choose one PDF, tick the pages you want or type a range like 1,3 or 2-4, then choose Extract pages. The pages you picked are saved into one new PDF, in the order you picked them, and it downloads as split.pdf.

Good to know

  • Everything happens in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded or stored anywhere.
  • This first version extracts into a single PDF. It does not split into one file per page; that is planned next.
  • Pages keep their original size, fonts and images; nothing is re-compressed.
  • This first version reads standard PDFs with classic cross-reference tables. Password-protected PDFs, and files that use newer compressed cross-references, are rejected with a clear message instead of a broken file.

Questions

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The split happens in your browser on your device, and your file never leaves it.

Which PDFs can be split?

Standard PDFs with classic cross-reference tables, which covers most PDFs. Password-protected PDFs, and files that use newer compressed cross-references, cannot be read by this first version; the tool tells you plainly and extracts nothing.

In what order do the pages come out?

In the order you picked them. Pages typed in the range box keep the order you wrote (so 3,1 puts page 3 first), and ticked boxes are added in page order.

Can I split into one file per page?

Not yet. This first version saves everything you picked into one new PDF. One file per page is planned next.

What is the new file called?

It downloads as split.pdf.
